BAYOU BOOGEYMAN

Another segment for a larger project about animation that scared me back when I was a kid, this video features the “Bunyip Moon” segment from the 1977 film Dot and the Kangaroo. It aired on the Disney Channel in the mid-1980s and gave more than a few kids nightmares about an Australian monster they otherwise wouldn't have had to worry about. This remix is set to an altered version of “Bayou Boogie,” the swamp music from Donkey Kong Country 2, which was composed by David Wise.
