The Supercuts
I taught myself how to edit video in order to make abbreviated versions of weird movies. These are crude, but they get the job done. First up is Invitation to Hell, a 1984 made-for-TV horror movie starring Susan Lucci as the devil. It was directed by Wes Craven. Read more about it on my blog.
I also did the 1979 film The Visitor, which is bonkers but also incomprehensible and is maybe more enjoyable with a lot of parts chopped out. You can read more about it here.
In 1993, there was Mahakaal, a Bollywood re-creation of A Nightmare on Elm Street that’s actually kind of spectacular. You can read more about it here.
And then along different lines, more or less, is the strange, Twin Peaks-inspired episode of Darkwing Duck. I wrote about it here.
